A little like Rimmel Heather Shimmer lipstick and Maybelline Great Lash mascara, Frizz Ease was one of those beauty products that got me through my school days. I was (am) of the genetic pool with frizzy, unruly locks, a little like cotton wool but arguably much harder to tame. Until I found Frizz Ease, that is. I'd smooth it right through my lengths and haphazardly blast strands with my hairdryer, as the gel-like serum got to work on loosening frizz and stubborn kinks.

Now, the original (and wonderful) serum is a stalwart in many a beauty stash, and others have joined the Frizz Ease family - the Miraculous Recovery Crème Serum and the Nourishing Oil Elixir. They only launched this month but, already they're my brand new hair mainstays. As a couple, they offer weightless moisture that makes my fine hair feel strong.

Now, let me start by saying this isn't your typical hair oil - it actually boasts more of a gel texture that my strands seem to lap up. I apply it when hair is damp and one pump seems to cover my fine, long locks, and immediately, any stubborn knots seem to gently untangle. It's spiked with that popular liquid - nourishing argan oil - and, even used alone, noticeably softens up my typically brittle hair. I'm painting an attractive picture here, right?

A great pairing if you have fine hair that takes on a frizzy form, it leaves locks with that light, 'swishy' texture that encourages movement. And if you hair is thicker, there's a whole line of new Frizz Ease serums, including an Extra Strength unction that takes no prisoners.
